After 26 months of construction, Hillsa invested a total investment of 320 million U.S. dollars to build a CSP thin slab continuous casting and rolling line with an annual output of 750,000 tons. The 150-ton shaft furnace was supplied by Fuchs Systems Inc. and the electrical system was supplied by ABB. EAF steel with 45% direct reduction of iron and 55% scrap.
