矿相学是地质科学的一門新兴学科。自三十年代至今的二三十年中,矿相学不仅在鑑定金属矿物的方法、技术方面有了改进,并在金属矿物的光学性质、試驗研究以及矿石的共生組合方面,也有新的发展。同时,系統的描述金属矿物学也已形成。到目前为止,就矿相学研究的内容而論,比以往丰富和扩展得多了。 現将矿相学各个方面,特别是近三十年来的发展情况概述如下。
Mineralogy is a new discipline in geosciences. In the two or three decades from the 1930s to the present, mineralogy has not only been improved in the methods and technologies for the identification of metallic minerals, but also has been newly developed in terms of the optical properties of metallic minerals, experimental studies, and symbiotic assemblages of ores . At the same time, systematic description of the mineralogy has also been formed. So far, the content of mineralogical studies has been more abundant and expanded than ever before. The various aspects of mineralogy are summarized below, especially the developments over the past three decades.
