In recent years, the research on the Z-pinch of wire array has caused great interest in the Z pinch physics. In this configuration, high-density and high-temperature plasma can be generated, and fusion conditions may even be achieved. However, plasma implosion is severely affected by R-T instability because the plasma is accelerated by a massless fluid magnetic field. The efficiency of Z pinch implosion mainly depends on the symmetry and uniformity of implosion.
