Describe systems for recording and retrieving seismic records on tape. About 4-300 weeks wide band response geophones and amplifiers are used to send seismic signals to thirteen tape recorders. The signal is supplied via a variable filtering and mixing system, which is then tested on the screen of a twelve-wire cathode-ray oscilloscope.
