学术英语写作教学的主要目的就是帮助学生发展达到专业学习所需的英语写作能力。研究表明,从社会认知的角度诠释写作可以揭示写作所涉及的情境、写作目的、修辞方法和读者群体等要素。对学术英语写作社会属性的研究将有助于融合英语写作和专业领域的学习,从而实现学术英语写作的目的。英语教师可在此过程中帮助学生认识和理解与专业领域相关的英语写作实践活动,提高学生对学术英语写作的专属性认识,满足学生在专业学习中对学术写作知识和能力的需求。
The main purpose of academic English writing teaching is to help students develop their English writing skills required for professional learning. The research shows that interpreting writing from the perspective of social cognition can reveal such factors as writing context, writing purpose, rhetorical method and readership. The study of the social attributes of academic English writing will help to integrate learning English writing and professional fields in order to achieve the purpose of academic English writing. In this process, English teachers can help students understand and understand English writing practice related to their fields of study, improve students ’professional knowledge of academic English writing, and meet the students’ needs and knowledge of academic writing in professional learning.
