16年来,吸收能力作为管理研究的一种重要理论工具而备受青睐。但是,近乎功利性的概念具体化让吸收能力研究陷入了误区与困境,因此有必要对吸收能力概念进行重新认识和定位。本文认为,从组织间合作的角度看,吸收能力实际上是组织自身吸收能力与组织间关系的函数。吸收能力的真正价值不在于战术上的可操作性与实证检验,而在于为组织提供战略指导。吸收能力与核心能力相辅相成,共同推动组织间合作与组织竞争优势的建立。
For 16 years, absorptive capacity has gained popularity as an important theoretical tool for management research. However, the conception of near utilitarian conception makes the study of absorptive capacity in the wrong and difficult position, so it is necessary to re-understand and locate the concept of absorptive capacity. This paper argues that from the perspective of inter-organizational cooperation, absorptive capacity is actually a function of the organization’s own absorptive capacity and the relationship between organizations. The real value of absorptive capacity lies not in tactical maneuverability and empirical testing, but in providing strategic guidance to the organization. Absorptive capacity and core competencies complement each other and jointly promote the establishment of inter-organizational cooperation and organizational competitive advantages.
