In 2013, both vehicle production and sales volume of China exceeded 21 million vehicles, ranking first in the world for five consecutive years. This result has long been expected. The growing purchasing power of China’s vast market and people has driven China’s automobile production and sales all the way to the highway. However, the bigger the number, the heavier the stone on Chinese car ownership - the time when its own brands can prop up China’s auto industry. Automotive technology and manufacturing equipment are two wagons that raise the level of the automobile industry, while China has a small difference in both respects with those in the developed automobile industry
