海河干流是是一条具有行洪、排涝、蓄水、美化城市、旅游、航运等综合功能的河道,主要承泄大清河和永定河部分洪水,海河干流设计泄量为800m3/s。国泰桥位于海河干流总体桩号10+600处,国泰桥对海河干流可能产生的防洪影响主要体现在对河道行洪能力的影响;对河道造成的泥沙冲淤影响;对堤防巡视、维护、防汛抢险等造成的影响以及汛期施工对防汛抢险会造成一定影响。
