在无线自组织网络中,协作分集技术不仅为物理层上提高系统抗衰落能力提供了有效手段,并且为网络跨层设计提供了有利的底层技术支持。协作通信技术与数据链路层上关键技术相结合,分别产生了协作自动请求重传(automatic repeat request,ARQ)机制和协作介质访问控制(medium access control,MAC)协议。本文讨论了传统MAC协议的现状,重点总结了在不同网络环境中以不同性能需求为目标的协作ARQ及协作MAC协议,并且给出了各种协议的基本规则和流程。
In wireless ad hoc networks, cooperative diversity technology not only provides an effective means for improving the anti-fading capability of the system at the physical layer, but also provides favorable underlying technical support for the cross-layer network design. The combination of collaborative communication technology with key technologies at the data link layer has resulted in the development of an automatic repeat request (ARQ) mechanism and a coordinated medium access control (MAC) protocol, respectively. This paper discusses the status quo of the traditional MAC protocol and summarizes the collaborative ARQ and cooperative MAC protocols that target different performance requirements in different network environments. The basic rules and procedures of various protocols are also given.
