基于1998年夏季的温盐深(CTD)和气象观测资料,采用改进逆方法计算了南海海流的流速和流量,并结合声学 Doppler测流(ADCP)资料分析了南海环流特征.结果如下:(1)南海东北部环流最重要的特征是黑潮有一个分支入侵南海,但流量不大.该分支作反气旋式弯曲通过巴士海峡流向台湾以南海域,而没有入侵南海内部;(2)南海北部海区主要受气旋式环流系统所支配,并伴随有两个冷涡;(3)南海中部、西南部海区主要受反气旋式环流系统所支配,主要包括3个反气旋环流系统和1个较强的气旋式涡;(4)南海东南部海区主要存在一个范围较大的自西南至东北伸展的气旋式环流系统;(5)南海环流存在多涡现象,且较大尺度涡里含有几个小涡;(6)南海海流和涡旋存在西向强化现象.
Based on the CTD and meteorological observations in the summer of 1998, the current velocity and flow in the South China Sea were calculated by the improved inverse method. The characteristics of the SCS circulation were analyzed with the acoustic Doppler flow (ADCP) data. The results are as follows: (1) The most important feature of the circulation in the northeastern South China Sea is that there is a branch of the Kuroshio invaded the South China Sea, but the flow rate is not large. (2) the northern South China Sea is mainly dominated by the cyclonic circulation system accompanied by two cold vortices; (3) the central part of the South China Sea, the central part of the South China Sea, The southwestern sea area is mainly dominated by anticyclonic circulation systems, including three anticyclone circulation systems and a strong cyclonic vortex. (4) There is mainly a large range of extents extending from southwest to northeast in the southeastern South China Sea (5) There is a multi-vortex phenomenon in the circulation of the South China Sea, and there are several small vortices in the larger-scale vortex. (6) There is a phenomenon of westward enhancement in the current and the vortex of the South China Sea.
