John Murtagh,澳大利亚Monash大学全科医学系兼职教授和Melbourne大学的全科医学专家。1966年毕业于Monash大学,1986年担任《Australian Family Physician》杂志主编,1988年获得医学博士学位,1993年被Monash大学聘为教授。1995年,鉴于他在医学教育、研究和著作方面的卓越贡献,被授予澳大利亚勋章,他的著作《Murtagh′s General Practice》被奉为澳大利亚全科医生的“圣经”。其著作在中国也产生了巨大的影响。《Murtagh′sGeneral Practice》中译本已在2010年岁末出版发行。“澳大利亚John Murtagh全科病案研究”自2008年开始在《中国全科医学》杂志连续刊登以来,受到了广大中国全科医生的关注和好评。Murtagh教授每一个娓娓道来的病案都是他毕生宝贵工作经验的精华,是为《中国全科医学》杂志专门撰写,是中国的全科医生前进的导航和指引。本期John Murtagh教授以2型糖尿病管理为例,跟我们分享了一个病程跨越10余年的2型糖尿病患者的病案。澳大利亚Monash大学杨辉教授对本文进行了翻译点评,以飨我国读者。在此衷心感谢Murtagh教授和担任本栏目翻译点评工作的杨辉教授对中国全科医学发展给予的大力支持和帮助!
John Murtagh, Adjunct Professor of General Practice, Monash University, Australia, and General Practitioner, University of Melbourne. He graduated from Monash University in 1966, was the editor in chief of the Australian Family Physician in 1986, received his MD in 1988 and was hired as a professor at Monash University in 1993. In 1995, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to medical education, research and writings, the Australian Medal was awarded and his book “Murtagh’s General Practice” was named “Bible” for Australian GPs. His work has also had a huge impact in China. The translation of “Murtagh’s General Practice” was published in late 2010. “John Murtagh General Practitioner Case Study in Australia ” Since its publication in the Chinese Journal of General Practitioners in 2008, it has attracted the attention and praise of the majority of Chinese general practitioners. Each of Murtagh’s medical records is the quintessence of his valuable life experience and is authored by China General Practice magazine. It is the navigation and guidance for the general practitioners in China. In the current issue of Professor John Murtagh, type 2 diabetes management shared with us a case history of type 2 diabetes over a period of more than 10 years. Professor Yang Hui of Monash University in Australia conducted a translation comment on this article to readers in our country.
