Based on the data of 1999-2013, this paper establishes a consumption model including government expenditure, and examines the impact of the holiday economy on consumption from an empirical point of view. The test results show that both the holiday economy and government expenditure played a positive role in consumption during 1999-2005; neither government expenditure nor holiday economy have a significant impact on consumption between 2006 and 2013; government spending has some adjustment to the relationship between holiday economy and consumption Role, when government spending can not meet the growth in consumer demand, the role of holiday economy to promote consumption is not obvious. Through the analysis of the results, this paper argues that in stimulating domestic demand through the use of the holiday economy, the government should increase expenditure and provide more public goods to solve the bottleneck of domestic economy driven by the holiday economy.
