“三个代表”重要思想体现了解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进、开拓创新精神。推进教育创新 ,是我们实践“三个代表”思想的重要任务。本文从推动教育创新是实践“三个代表”重要思想的必然要求、推动教育创新是坚持与时俱进精神的具体体现、以与时俱进精神推动教育创新是做好高校工作的根本保证三方面 ,理论联系实际论证了用“三个代表”统领高校工作 ,以与时俱进精神推动教育创新的重要意义 The important thinking of the ’Three Represents’ embodies emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts, advancing with the times and pioneering and innovative. Promoting education innovation is an important task for us in implementing the thinking of the “three represents.” In this paper, to promote education innovation is an inevitable requirement for the practice of the important thought of “Three Represents”. To promote education innovation is a concrete manifestation of adhering to the spirit of advancing with the times. Promoting education innovation with the spirit of advancing with the times is the fundamental guarantee for doing well the work in colleges and universities. In terms of theory, this paper argues the importance of using “three represents” to guide the work of colleges and universities and advancing education with the spirit of advancing with the times
