Nearly 1/5 of the construction workers in the construction industry. Construction workers include carpenters, electricians, bricklayers or other skilled workers, while workers refer to some porting and some less-than-technically-needed jobs. The Occupational Census Bureau registered 286 work-builders belonging to “builders” in 1970. The total work-related injury rate of full-time construction workers in 1983 was 14.7%, almost double the rate of work-related injuries in the country (7.5%) and higher than any other occupation.
