作为语言基础组成部分的词汇,其习得和运用对一门外语的掌握有着非比寻常的意义。词汇的习得往往不能单靠脱离情境的理解和机械式的重复记忆。不同的词汇有着各自不同的应用语境,即使是相同的词汇,在不同的语境下也常常有着不同的解释。因此,词汇实际上是语言形式、意义、用法和使用环境的结合体。本文就高职学生学习词汇的问题展开讨论,根据实际情况,对结合语境理论进行英语词汇教学进行了初步的探讨。
As a basic part of language, its acquisition and use of foreign languages have extraordinary significance. Vocabulary acquisition often can not rely solely on contextual understanding and mechanical repetitive memory. Different words have their own different contexts, even in the same vocabulary, often have different interpretations in different contexts. Therefore, the vocabulary is actually a combination of language form, meaning, usage and environment. This article discusses the problem of higher vocational students’ learning vocabulary. Based on the actual situation, this article makes a tentative discussion of English vocabulary teaching based on context theory.
