17β-羟甾脱氢酶(17β-HSD)催化雄甾烯二酮转化成睾酮,已知Ⅰ型和Ⅲ型17β-HSD为催化还原反应的同功酶,本研究测定了小鼠胚胎期和出生后这二种还原型同功酶的mRNA水平。在胚胎期和刚出生的睾丸,Ⅰ型和Ⅲ型同功酶的mRNA均为高表达,出生后第5天为峰值,而后,二者的表达明显降低并持续到出生第30天,第30天起,Ⅲ型同功酶的表达明显增高。结果提示:在缺乏Ⅲ型同功酶而致的男性假二性畸型中,胚胎期Ⅰ型17β-HSD的表达可能与Wolffian管的分化有关。
17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (17β-HSD) catalyzes the conversion of androstenedione to testosterone. Type I and type III 17β-HSD are known as isoenzymes for catalytic reduction. The results suggest that in the absence of type Ⅲ isozymes in males, the expression of type I 17β-HSD may be related to Wolffian tube differentiation.
