儿童、少年正处于生长发育的旺盛期(11-15 岁),身体各项形态指标随着年龄的增长而快速增加。因此这个阶段训练手段要以全面促进身体健康和发展身体各项素质为主。通过正确、合理的训练手段能够积极地促进身心发展,提高运动能力。实践证明:如果能按照儿童、少年身体生长发育和解剖生理特点进行科学的训练,不仅有利于提高运动成绩,而且也不会损害身体。否则一味追求单项成绩,进行成人化训练,过早地出成绩,就会给身体带来一系列的危害,严重地影响儿童、少年的生长发育和健康成长。而成人化训练在我国基层的业余体校训练中却普遍存在,其中原因之一就是对儿童、少年运动员成人化训练的危害性认识不足。1998年10月在上海
