目前,全世界金属镁的生产能力大约为35万吨/年,其中用热还原法生产的为7.9万吨/年,占总产能的五分之一强。我国在六十~七十年代曾先后有几十家厂、矿和研究单位进行过热还原法炼镁试验;绝大多数皆因产品成本太高而停止了试验。热法炼镁成本高的原因虽然很多,但与反应温度高、能量和罐体材料消耗大有直接关系。能否找到一种反应温度较低的炼镁工艺,是炼镁工作者历来所关注的问题。
At present, the production capacity of metallic magnesium in the world is about 350,000 tons / year, of which 79,000 tons / year is produced by the thermal reduction method, accounting for more than one fifth of the total production capacity. In the sixties to the seventies, China has successively dozens of factories, mines and research institutes overheating magnesium refining test method; the vast majority of products because of the high cost and stop the test. Although the reasons for the high cost of heat refining magnesium are many, it is directly related to the high reaction temperature, the energy consumption and the material consumption of the canister.
