泉州作为海上丝绸之路的起源地,具有重要的历史意义和遗产价值。泉州遗产的未来关系到对海上丝绸之路地位的认知,以及泉州当地物质、经济、文化的发展。文章从泉州遗产的保护、泉州城的水路贸易体系和城市面貌、泉州的活态遗产以及传统生活方式和艺术对泉州遗产价值的影响四方面出发,论述了泉州以鲤鱼和网隐喻的促进海上贸易与整顿海上贸易融合的发展模式、祖先和宗教信仰在泉州当地生活中的重要作用,以及泉州美学和实用性并存的生活方式,提出泉州在未来应将研究的重心放在考古发现、口述历史、草根价值以及艺术生活方式的挖掘上,以便更全面地理
