香港是世界交通密度最高的地区之一。但由于丘陵起伏,楼宇林立,地势所限,现有道路难以扩展或大规模地开辟新的道路。唯一办法就是实行各种改善措施,以便更加有效地利用现有道路空间,以应付日益增长的交通要求。这些措施包括:交通信号管制,设置单向行车道及其他交通管理方法。但最有效的疏通交通的方法,是在繁忙的道路交汇处兴建立体交叉公路桥梁,即香港俗称的“天桥”。近年来,香港积极推行长期扩展计划,兴建了不少公路桥梁,而其大部分都是用预应力混凝土兴建的。 本文简要介绍了近年来香港公路桥梁的设计和施工的发展趋向。文后并列举了一些实例,以作说明。
Hong Kong is one of the most traffic-intensive areas in the world. However, due to the ups and downs of hilly buildings and the limited terrain, existing roads are difficult to expand or open up new roads on a large scale. The only solution is to introduce various improvement measures to make more effective use of existing road space to meet the ever-increasing traffic demand. These include: traffic signal control, setting of one-way traffic lanes and other traffic management methods. However, the most effective way to clear traffic is to build a cross-over highway bridge at the busy road interchange, commonly known as the “flyover” in Hong Kong. In recent years, Hong Kong has actively pursued a long-term expansion plan and built a lot of highways and bridges, most of which are constructed of prestressed concrete. This article briefly introduces the development trend of the design and construction of Hong Kong highway bridges in recent years. After the article and cites a few examples for illustration.
