The results show that these new collectors have better selectivity for pyrite than xanthate; when used in combination with xanthate, they not only reduce the amount of collector but also increase copper, gold and Silver recovery rate; the toxicity index of these collectors is similar to that of xanthate and can be produced in a chemical plant in the Russian Federation at a price close to that of xanthate.
