我省棉花1982～1984年连续高产,单产已进入全国高产行列,1983年平均单产已达62.5公斤,1984年总产达7万多吨。但是,由于各方面对我省棉花品质认识不一,使我省棉花生产受到很大影响,到1986年棉花播种面积已由1984年121万亩下降到30万亩,已降到建国已来的最低水平,究竟应该怎样评价我省棉花品质和指导我省棉花生产,本文根据1984年省农牧厅联合纺织、商业、纤维检验等部门对我省几个主栽品种进行棉纤维检测的资料,谈一点粗浅的看法。
