2010年12月,为配合荆州市逸居园小区房地产建设工程,荆州博物馆对位于荆州古城西北部的嵠峨山墓地进行了一次抢救性考古发掘工作。清理楚墓15座,共出土器物112件,按质地主要分为陶器、铜器、漆木器、玉石器等。根据墓葬、随葬品形制综合判断,这批楚墓的年代约为战国早中期。此次发掘,是嵠峨山墓地的第三次发掘,也是对前两次发掘资料的补充,对研究荆州地区楚文化内涵提供了新的资料。
In December 2010, Jingzhou Museum carried out a rescue archeological excavation on the Cemetery cemetery located in the northwestern part of the ancient city of Jingzhou in line with the real estate construction project of the Jingyi City Yijuyuan Residential Area. This excavation is the third excavation of the Asan cemetery, which is also a supplement to the excavation data of the previous two times. It provides new information for studying the connotation of Chu culture in Jingzhou area.
