From November 25 to November 26, 2000, “WTO, Symposium on Principles of Enterprise Development and Corporate Governance” co-hosted by China Society for Economic Restructuring and Nankai International Business School was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Professor Li Wei'an, Dean of the International Business School of Nankai University, who first proposed and organized the study and formulation of the principles of corporate governance in China, gave a speech entitled "The Principles of Corporate Governance in China - The Trend of the World and Enterprises
