现代化远距离教育管理涉及的内容很广,有宏观的,也有微观的。如远距离教育的计划管理、质量管理、教学常规管理、组织管理、学生管理、电教工作管理、科研工作管理、教材与图书管理、财务与后勤管理等。本文仅就远距离教育的计划管理、质量管理和教学常规管理进行论述。 (一)教育计划管理远距离教育的计划管理,是指按照国家的有关教育方针、政策、原则和法规,对远距离教育实行规划、组织、指挥和协调,以实现为国家培养各类应用型人才的战略目标。远距离教育是开放性的,特别是自学考试,各种专业的应考人数难以控制,如果不通过预测和论证而盲目招生,势必要造成人才比例失调、结构混乱等现象。所以,加强远距离教育的计划管理,是发展我国远距离教育事业的重要措施。
