人称“中国电影之父”的郑正秋,在投身电影制作前,曾一度热中新剧。不过,因文明戏演出多半没有剧本,当年的旧报纸又少有人翻阅,故对郑氏初期戏剧活动未免言之不详。笔者近来因撰写《秋瑾在二十世纪中国》,考察一百年来文学作品中的秋瑾形象,发现了郑正秋与民初上海戏剧舞台上的两部秋瑾戏的若干资料,故略加考述,以拾遗补阙。 Zheng Zhengqiu, who is known as the “father of Chinese films”, was once a hot new drama before joining the film production.
