Objective To explore the relationship between early childhood developmental maturity and childhood learning disorders. Methods According to the paired study design, the early developmental history and the level of biological maturity of 15 3 children with learning disability and 15 3 control subjects were investigated and compared. Results The incidence of preterm birth and birth weight <250 g in children with learning disability was significantly different from that in control children (P <0.05). The children with learning disability had delayed speech and late walking, Anemia history and the incidence of frequent cold compared with the control group of children compared to significant differences; children with learning disabilities skeleton skeletal age, speech IQ <90 and total IQ <90 incidence of children compared with the control group was significant difference. Conclusion The early developmental history and the level of biological maturity in children with learning disabilities may be an important factor affecting children with learning disabilities.
