为了适应四化大业和人民生活的需要,必须下大力改变我国落后的通信面貌。把光纤通信的研究成果,尽快尽多地用到组建实际的通信网络中去,对提高我国的通信水平,无疑是有重大意义的。二次群、三次群光纤通信系统经几年实际工程应用的考验,证明效果是好的。更高速率更大容量更长中继距离具有多种实用化功能的139.264Mb/s数字光缆通信机和彩电传输系统,也已由电子部34所周承刚等同志组成的四次群课题组在所内外有关方面的大力支持下研制成功。
In order to adapt to the needs of the four major industries and people’s lives, we must make great efforts to change the backward communication landscape in China. It is undoubtedly of great significance to increase the level of communications in China by using the research results of optical fiber communications as soon as possible to build the actual communications network. The secondary group and the tertiary group optical fiber communication system has been proved to be effective after several years of practical engineering application tests. Higher speed, higher capacity, longer relay distance, 139.264Mb/s digital optical cable communicator with multiple practical functions, and color TV transmission system, also by the fourth group consisting of Zhou Chenggang and other comrades in the Department of Electronics 34. Developed successfully with strong support from both internal and external parties.
