我第一次看到狄少英的中国人物画,就感到象在我身边突然从地下冒出一株硕大的春笋,似乎在向我挑战,向我示威。但也给予我更多的欢喜,因为老竹的身旁出现新笋就意味着竹园的繁茂,艺苑的后继有人,怎能不使作为老竹的我感到高兴呢?
When I first saw Di Shaoying’s Chinese portraits, I felt like a huge spring bamboo shoot suddenly emerges from the ground beside me. It seems that I was challenging me and demonstrating to me.
