随着胶凝材料体系的复杂化，混凝土早期放热量增加，混凝土结构体的冷缩量随之增加，地下室外墙因冷缩开裂的工程案例频频出现。HCSA—R水化热抑制型膨胀剂具有抑制水泥水化反应速率，推迟水化最高温峰的出现，同时降低水化最高温度的效果，在工程中使用能够起到控制冷缩开裂的效果。
