We have all felt saddened by the loss of two outstanding leaders and proletarian revolutionaries Comrade Zeng San and Comrade Zhang Zhong. I have already written a memorial article entitled “Learning from Comrade Zeng San” with some comrades and published in the “People’s Daily” on December 30, 1990. Now that I have not had time to think seriously about Comrade Zhang Zhong’s death, I now want to recall some of my contacts with Comrade Zhang Zhong, especially his democratic style and lofty morality, as follows in my memory of his death.
