During his lifetime, he published such notations as “History of National Disgrace and Minority Ages”, etc., and left untitled notes such as “Handbook of Modern Chinese History”, “Prehistoric History of China”, “General History of China in Nearly One Hundred Years” and “Supplement to the History of Modern Chinese Culture.” These kinds of unpublished works together with the old issue of the Commercial Press, the Russo-Japanese War, are counted in five categories and will be compiled and published by East China Normal University Press into the publication of “Lu Modern Chinese History.” About 300,000 words of this book, rich in content, rich in features, can be described as a patriotic, rhetoric, truth-seeking works of modern history.
