中间包内钢水在自由流出过程中容易产生汇流漩涡。汇流漩涡会引起空气和钢渣的吸入,降低钢水质量。中间包内通常设有塞棒、挡墙等常用的控流装置来优化流场。以国内某厂对称四流圆坯T形中间包为研究对象,采用数学模型模拟塞棒和挡墙对中间包出水口处汇流漩涡的影响,并用水模型验证。模拟结果表明,设有塞棒和挡墙的中间包对抑制汇流漩涡的形成效果最好。
Tundish within the molten steel in the process of free flow prone to swirling convergence. The converging eddies cause air and steel slag to inhale, reducing the quality of the molten steel. The tundish is usually equipped with stopper, retaining wall and other commonly used flow control devices to optimize the flow field. A T - shaped tundish with a symmetrical four - round round billet in a certain factory in China was taken as the research object. The mathematical model was used to simulate the influence of plug and retaining wall on the converging vortex at the outlet of the tundish and verified by water model. The simulation results show that the tundish provided with stopper rod and retaining wall has the best effect in suppressing the formation of confluence swirl.
