Vienna Subway ordered 68 T-type low center light rail vehicles for its U6 line to Bombardier Rotax, Austria. The car is organized into four sections and will be put into operation in early 1993. The new cars will also be used with the existing E6 and C6 light rail vehicles to train a five-car train to ensure that at least one low-center-of-gravity vehicle is available for all train groups. The purchase of these new light rail vehicles, is to improve the train driving density, to achieve the departure interval of 3min. To take full advantage of the new light rail vehicle’s carrying capacity, they are designed to maximize the maximum size allowed by the strict loading limits of the U6 line. Each car length 27.3m, width 2.65m. Car interior
