A few years ago, we used the monolithic pouring of waterproof concrete to build a basement in a hostile environment (using ponds and being threatened by groundwater and surface water). The investigation and analysis of the causes of serious leakage of water in underground engineering shows that the leakage of construction joints and the seepage of concrete itself are the main factors. It can be seen that the fundamental measure to solve the problem of serious water leakage is to reduce construction joints and improve the impermeability of concrete, while the waterproof concrete monolithic pouring method is to reduce construction joints to zero (optimum) and improve concrete compactness and impermeability. In order to strengthen its own waterproof (the most provincial) combination, so as to achieve the best waterproof effect. To ensure the quality of waterproof concrete as a whole, we must have a careful plan and strict organization to invest in manpower.
