The authors report chromosomal aberrations in bone marrow cells and peripheral blood lymphocytes from the same rat to determine whether the rate of chromosomal aberrations in cultured lymphocytes can represent the level of chromosomal aberrations in vivo. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were used in the experiment. Cardiac puncture was performed after anesthesia.
