中国绘画历史悠久,源远流长。从上古原始壁画可以看出,那时的先民们就已经非常重视色彩地运用了,似乎与色彩结下了不解之缘。古人常用“丹青”二色来指代绘画。佛教传入前的中国远古人物绘画确实只用红、黑等有限的几种颜料来敷色作画,以致形成色彩单纯、画风古朴的审美特征。一、远古人物岩画与彩陶的色彩中国绘画的历史最早可追溯到原始社会旧石器时代晚期的岩画和新石器时代的彩陶。
