公务员法是我国第一部属于干部人事管理总章程性质的重要法律,它的颁布实施标志着中国公务员管理历史上一个划时代阶段的到来。制定和实施公务员法,有利于健全干部人事管理法律法规体系,实现干部人事管理的法制化;有利于深化干部人事制度改革,实现干部人事管理的科学化;有利于促进干部队伍建设和各级政权建设,提高党的执政能力;有利于推进政治体制改革,建设社会主义民主政治。制定实施公务员法,是坚持党的干部路线方针政策的重要体现,是推动我国政治制度不断发展完善的重要体现,是贯彻实施依法治国战略的重要体现,对于发展社会主义民主政治、建设社会主义政治文明具有重要而深远的影响。
