旅游宣传资料翻译需考虑到中外文化体现在思维方式、审美心理、文体风格等方面的差异,选择恰当的翻译策略以实现翻译目的,否则会影响旅游产品的宣传效果,甚至会损害城市旅游形象。本文依据翻译目的论,从“目的原则与达旨手段”、“忠实原则与循规策略”、“连贯原则与共喻关照”三方面探讨宁波旅游宣传资料汉译英翻译,以期更好宣传宁波旅游,展现宁波魅力,提升宁波旅游国际市场宣传形象。
The translation of tourism promotional materials needs to take into account the differences between Chinese and foreign cultures reflected in the way of thinking, aesthetic psychology, style and other aspects, and select the appropriate translation strategies to achieve the purpose of translation, otherwise it will affect the promotion of tourism products, or even damage the city’s tourism image. Based on the translating theory of purpose, this article explores the translation of Chinese-English translations of tourist information materials in Ningbo from three aspects: “principle of purpose and means of accomplishment ” “principle of loyalty and conformity ”, “coherence principle and metaphorical care” In order to better promote Ningbo tourism, show the charm of Ningbo, Ningbo tourism to enhance the international market image.
