评选过程在庆祝地球杂志创刊10周年之际,为了把地球杂志办的更上一层楼,有必要对过去所发的作品进行一次全面地回顾和总结。我刊决定从创刊到1991年4期为止的作品中评选出优秀作品若干篇。为此,我刊组织了50人左右进行书面投票,这50人中有:我刊通讯编辑、我刊骨刊作者、关心我刊的同志。这项工作是在1991年5月—6月之间进行的。参加投票的同志,本着认真负责的精神,对本刊10年的杂志进行了审读,推荐了优秀作品。有的还附有热情洋溢的信件,对这次评选活动给予了充分的肯定。 1991年6月22日,我们召开了地球杂志编委会和在京科普委员联席会议,对书面投票提名的380篇作品进行了审议,并原则通过其中的71篇。1992年4月29日,我们召开了第3次全国的通讯编辑(包括本刊编辑部全体人员)工作会议。在会上大家认为 Selection Process Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Earth Magazine’s launch, in order to take Earth Magazine to the next level, it is necessary to review and summarize the works published in the past. I decided to select a number of outstanding works from the first publication to the fourth edition in 1991. To this end, I organized a group of about 50 people to vote in writing, among these 50 people are: I newsletter editor, author of my magazine, concerned about my comrades.
