元代的史职机构主要有三,即起居注、时政科、翰林国史院。起居注职司记录朝臣上奏之事,时政科记录中书省军国政务。翰林国史院职司主要是典籍史实的搜求收藏和国史的撰述。为保证国史的真实、公正,元统治者也做了相当多的工作,但由于制度疏阔,弊端甚多,故其国史仍很难保证真实、公正。 There are three main historical institutions in the Yuan Dynasty, namely, the living note, the Political Department, and the Hanlin Guo History Institute.
