OBJECTIVE: To provide basis for imaging diagnosis of pancreatic uncinate process by CT anatomy and radial line measurement of uncinate process of pancreas. Methods: CT images of 52 patients with non-pancreatic diseases were retrospectively analyzed. The vertical, horizontal, anteroposterior diameter of the uncinate process were measured. The corresponding relationship between the level of the uncinate process and the spine was observed. Meanwhile, the edge of the normal uncinate process , Morphology and the relationship with the superior mesenteric vessels. Results: Hypophysectomy of the pancreas at the L2 level of the spine showed 100%. The size and shape of the uncinate process varied greatly among different individuals. There was no significant difference between the three diameters measured. The tip of the crocodile reached the superior mesenteric artery less, none of which exceeded its left margin. Conclusion: Normal pancreas uncovered by spiral CT has been defined and measured to provide the basis for the preoperative diagnosis and surgical treatment of pancreatic uncinate tumors.
