航空难加工材料由于其常温和高温机械性能优越,使其切削性很差。其切削加工具有以下特点:切削力大、切削温度高,加工硬化现象十分严重,切削时容易粘刀、刀具磨损剧烈,刀具寿命低。选择适宜的切削用量数据对于提高切削效率、延长刀具寿命、保证产品质量显得尤其重要。多年来,国内外很多研究机构都在竞相进行针对难加工材料切削数据库的研究开发工作。但是还少有在难加工材料领域非常成功的案例。
