针对呼和乌素煤矿掘进巷道“长距离、大断面”的特点,确定采用全风压与局部通风机相结合的长距离局部通风技术。这种技术的掘进工艺为双巷平行掘进,平行掘进的双巷借助每隔50~60 m封闭或未封闭的联络巷形成一巷进风、另一巷回风的全风压通风系统;局部通风机安设在全风压进风巷中,并随联络巷密闭的跟进而前移。实践表明,采用长距离局部通风技术保证了巷道掘进时所需的风量,杜绝了掘进工作面瓦斯的积聚和超限现象,实现了快速和安全地掘进长距离巷道。
