紧凑型节能荧光灯是近10年来崛起的新一代电光源.它采用稀土三基色荧光粉,将细玻璃管加工成各种紧凑结构的管型,并将两组灯丝引线从单端引出.这种紧凑型节能荧光灯,可替代普通白炽灯,其发光效率高出白炽灯5—6倍,有明显的节能效果.它可以用红、绿、兰三种基色粉调配成人们所希望的光色,显色指数可达85以上.若用电子镇流器配用,可以做到体积小、重量轻、美观实用.但我国生产这种新光源的历史很短,技术水平不高,其主要技术指标中发光效率约为每瓦50—55流明,显色指数约75—80,寿命只有2000~3000小时,与国外相比差距较大,特别是寿命,国外要高于8000小时.
