左江流域自古以来一直是骆越民族及其后裔壮族劳动耕耘、生息繁衍之地。先民们绘制了规模宏大壮观的崖壁画艺术。以花山为代表的左江崖壁画,以数量多、分布集中、规模壮观、画面宏大、画像众多、形体高大、内容抽象,意境神秘等重要价值,为学术界所称道。这些崖壁画把先民们的信仰、生产生活习俗及艺术风格记录下来。有些习俗至今在壮族民间的一些节庆活动中保留着。为了民族群体的神圣信仰需要,先民们采用相应的方法,甚至是浩大的构架工程,攀登绝壁进行绘画。这也许就是了骆越人为何要冒着生命危险,攀登到如此陡峭险峻的悬崖峭壁上去绘制岩画的原因。 Since ancient times, the Zuojiang River Basin has always been the land of work and prosperity of the Luo and Yue people and their descendants. The ancestors painted a magnificent spectacular cliff mural art. The left river cliff mural represented by Huashan is praised by academia for its important value such as large quantity, concentrated distribution, magnificent scale, grand screen, numerous portraits, tall objects, abstract contents and mysterious conceptions. These cliff murals record the ancestors’ beliefs, production and living customs and artistic styles. Some customs are still preserved in some festivals of the Zhuang people. For the sacred beliefs of ethnic groups, our ancestors used the corresponding methods, even vast structural works, to climb the cliff for painting. This may be why the Luo Yue people risked their lives to climb such steep cliffs to draw the reason why the rock paintings.
