当前大学英语教学存在的最为突出的问题还是学生英语听说能力不强,即听不懂,开不了口。造成这种局面的关键在于教师自身缺乏英语素质。这会直接影响着课堂教学质量的高低,并决定着教学的成败,以及能否培养出具有较高英语听说能力的大学生。为此,现拟围绕“大学教师英语素质与学生听说能力的培养”这一主题来分析目前大学英语所存在的弊端,并阐明学生英语听说能力的培养关键在于教师自身英语素质的提高。
At present, the most prominent problem in college English teaching is that students’ English listening and speaking abilities are not strong, that is, they do not understand and can not open their mouths. The key to such a situation lies in the lack of English teachers’ own quality. This will have a direct impact on the quality of classroom teaching, and determine the success of teaching, as well as the ability to cultivate a higher English listening and speaking of college students. To this end, it is proposed to analyze the shortcomings of the current college English around the theme of “college teachers ’English quality and students’ listening and speaking ability” and clarify that the key to cultivate students ’ability of listening and speaking English lies in the teachers’ own English quality improve.
