Considering the engineering geological issues at wellhead sites in the design of mine shafts, significant risks of failure to complete and increase costs due to unexpected underground conditions can be avoided. Whether it is based on experience or based on engineering evaluation of the geological conditions for shaft design, a certain degree of well site investigation must be carried out.
