Bringing Bentley software to successful implementation cases - Sydney Olympic Stadium, Dubai International Airport and the current construction of the Shanghai World Financial Center, I believe everyone will not be unfamiliar. The outstanding performance of more than half of the 500 major design firms in the ENR ranking of Engineering Newspapers magazine published by the United States is using Bentley software. Bentley entered the Chinese market in the mid-90s. In early 2003, Bentley set up its Greater China region, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taiwan, in an effort to increase local investment. Its Bentley V8 project tour started in mid-August and attracted much engineering attention. So, what is the specific meaning of “engineering is a process rather than an event” advocated by the company? How can the solution help Chinese enterprises to carry out the project better? In the gap between Beijing exhibitions, Bentley’s sales director in Greater China Mr. Sun Gang interviewed correspondents.
