Tire tread blocks and pavement impact caused by the sidewall vibration is the main mechanism of tire noise. One of the necessary conditions for reducing tire / road contact noise is to understand the vibration characteristics. The purpose of this study is to analyze the propagation of the bending waves of the tire shell and the sound radiation of the sidewall under the bending mode based on the analysis of tire modalities. Several different modalities are applied at different frequencies, indicating the side-to-side response to external stimuli and their
